Escala Condominiums in Downtown Seattle has radically changed things up. Most notably, they have drastically reduced their prices.
The new sales center, staffed by a new sales and marketing team, plans to open its doors around March 27th.
New pricing will look something like this:
- 1 bedroom, 1.5 bath, 952 sf homes will start at $384,000
- 2 bedroom, 2 bath, 1607 sf homes will start at $699,000
- 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath, 2442 sf homes will start at $1,574,000
This pricing is around $400 to $450/sf. The dues have also come down to $.58/sf. As a reflection of the lower dues, Club Cielo will no longer be a fully staffed facility, instead it will simply be an amenity home owners can use if they choose to and pay for as they use it. The gym and resistance pools will always be available and free for the owners.
Escala has submitted for its Fannie Mae approval and there are 2 lenders that are currently providing loans for the building, Legacy Group and MetLife.
