1.4 Million Taxpayers Have Used the Tax Credit

According to the IRS, 1.4 million taxpayers have used the $8,000 first-time home buyer tax credit!

Remember, if you want to join the ranks of those taking advantage of this tax credit you need to close before the December 1st expiration of the credit. Although there is talk of extending the credit into 2010, there is no way to know if this will actually happen so keep the December 1st cut off date in mind if you are thinking about buying.
