This past week I was lucky enough to attend and be part of a Charrette about the possibility of creating a living home in Seattle. A living home is a house or condo that is self-sustaining with regard to energy and waste. GreenFab, a Seattle based Development Company, organized the Charrette (a meeting of the minds) to bring together experts from a variety of fields and together discuss how to bring the living home to life.
As GreenFab's consultant on Real Estate, I was able to offer information on possible development sites, pricing, and marketing strategy for this project.
It was an honor to be in the room and be able to learn from Engineers, builders, water experts, electricity experts, developers, and more just what it will take to bring the first living home to Seattle.
